Hi all,
After 7 weeks in Intensive Care I’ve now progressed to the Spinal Ward, breathing independently and hoping to lose my neck collar next week. I’m keen to get on with the next phase of my rehab which will involve daily physio and occupational therapy sessions.
I have been continuously blown away by the many messages of support and generosity from the Maitland/ Newcastle communities. Last week I even received a very special message from Wallabies captain Stephen Moore. I’m hearing lots about the Double Wicket Cricket Day and after party at the George this weekend. I wish I could be there. Thankyou in anticipation.
I hope to continue updating you with good news about my progress.
